Managing Director – Hyster Europe, Middle East & Africa
As Managing Director, Ettore Zoboli aims to take
the Hyster brand to a new level. He strongly believes Hyster’s
offering to customers is unique, being the only global, full line
supplier, and says that the company’s “Strong Partners.
Tough Trucks’ corporate slogan, sums up precisely what Hyster
represents.
Hyster is a leading brand in the global materials
handling market, supplying lift trucks for every application; warehouse
equipment, counterbalance lift trucks, container handlers and reach
stackers. The Hyster range is the most comprehensive in the industry
with a reputation, gained over more than 75 years, for reliability
and durability.

Ettore is enthusiastic about the company’s bold product development
programme which continuously feeds the launch of industry leading products.
He is equally ebullient about the ever stronger business relationships
between Hyster and its distribution partners. “I am certain that
we have the strongest network of distribution partners in the industry”
says Zoboli “Hyster customers benefit from working with a materials
handling supplier with massive global resources as well as a partner with
local expertise, dedicated to supporting their business objectives”.
Ettore Zoboli graduated in economics, specializing in International Marketing.
He spent the earlier part of his career, working in the warehousing truck
division of OM Pimespo, Italy.
Zoboli joined NMHG Europe, Hyster’s parent company, in 1996, and
has since held a number of positions of increasing responsibility. His
first assignment was as General Sales Manager for the Hyster warehouse
division, to oversee the launch and development of Hyster’s warehouse
range. He later became director of Hyster’s Dealer Development unit
and then a Director of Strategic Business Development for NMHG, further
developing the warehouse and Major Accounts business.
In this most recent role as Director of the Warehouse Business Unit, based
in his native Italy, he held full responsibility for the warehouse product
range, including marketing, product development, manufacturing and product
support. He guided the development of the product range into the state-of-the
art, full line portfolio that we know today.
